art may be incoming soon, when i wrestle my scanner into cooperating with the computer; and thanks to Hobby Lobby [ for frequent sales] i now own actual Prismacolor pencils, hence lots of art. yay. (stupid scanner...*grumble*) that, and i got a job. whee. the local university is paying me to play viola in a "guinea pig" orchestra for their conducting students. speaking of which, i now own a much better viola too. i can actually make noise with this one.

and i got reading glasses. totally weird, considering i already wear glasses the approximate thickness of Mount Everest, but it makes it a lot easier to read small print (especially on the computer screen). yay for anti-glare coating.

apologies in advance for mostly ignoring the lots...and lots...and lots of messages/deviations that cropped up while i was gone.
